SINGAPORE DECISION.
QUESTION IN THE COMMONS.
Received March 25, 2.5 p.m. LONDON, March PA. In tho House of Commons, Commander Bellairs asked in view of the gravity of tho issue in regard to the time required to complete the Singapore project in the event of the Government’s disarmament negotiations not succeeding, could Mr MacDonald state the approximate time by which the House could know whether-the negotiations were successful or not. Mr MacDonald replied that it was not a matter of time but of circumstances. If the circumstances changed, then the loss of time would be not a loss at all. Singapore would become necessary when the conditions made it necessary. Reuter.
