APPEAL IN AUSTRALIA

Received March 26, 9.20 a.m. SYDNEY, March 26. In the Court of Revision Mr W. G. Stead appealed against the levying of income tax upon the gross amount of the sales of his racing and draught horses in New South Wales, claiming that only five per cent of such amount was payable. The appeal was upheld.—Press Association.
