The two Palmerston North Club teams holding the Ainslie shield met and defeated two rinks from the lakaro Club yesterday afternoon. the teams and scores were, Palmerston North Club mentioned firstHepworth, Bayliss, Jolly, Cramp (skip), 07 v ITsmar, Mitchell, Nevyth, Flint (skip) 12; Goldfinch, Wall, Sliarman, Paton (skip) 27 v. Stone, Giorgi, Gallichan and Holland (skip) 1". MANGAHAO FERNS. The Mangahao Ferns, which have been held by Rudkin, Simmons, Stephenson and Pickering (skip). Palmerston North Club, for some time past, were won yesterday afternoon by Cluvton, Murray (2) and Roach (skip), of the Shannon Club. The match tpok place on the Palmerston Nort)i green, tlie scores being 23-19. The game was keenly contested.
