(Per Preu Association.)

CHRISTCHURCH, March 19. Mr Sullivan, M.P., addressed his constituents to-niglit. Amongst those on the platform were Mr E. J. Howard, M.P., who was making his first public appearance after his recent veryserious illness. Mr Sullivan said that there was a possibility of Labour being on the Treasury benches in New Zealand after the next election. The Government was losing a good deal of sleep on account of the growth of Labour, and Mr Massey was now referring to their party as the Socialists.
