SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.
An enjoyable St. Patrick's Day function was the euchre party and dance conduoled in the Empire Hall rn Monday night, when there was an attendance of about 300. The M.’sC. were Messrs C. Houston and J. R. Smith, and during the evening the former and Mr Hurley danced an Irish jig. In the euchre competition Mrs R. Jones won the ladies’ prize and Mr N. Hannah the gentleman’s prize.
