At yesterday’s meeting' of the committee of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association a letter was received from the headmaster of the Wanganui Collegiate School advising that the football match between the Collegiate School and Te Aute College would not in future be played at the Palmerston North show. A letter from the Te Aute College explained the school team was to journey to Wanganui lor the annual match this year, they would be unable to play any match at Palmerston North during show week. Mr J. A. Nash commented that it appeared that the association was going to lose the match, which would detrimentally affect them ’financially. However, the matter of arranging suitable football fixtures was in the hands of a special committee.
