THE TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
DAY CLASSES RESUME
Day classes at the Technical School were resumed this morning, the enrolments prior to midday being over 200. Some of these, however, are also for night classes, and, as applications for tuition are still coming to hand, the exact roll cannot be definitely stated for several days.
During the vacation, the equipment of the engineering division lias been added to by the acquisition of two additional forges, while a new lathe is expected to arrive shortly. Mr D. E. Dredge, late of Nelson, has taken up his duties as woodwork instructor, and Miss Martensen has been appointed registrar in place of Miss Hollier, resigned. Miss M. Jordan, who last year was assistant domestic science instructor, has now taken Mtarge of this branch.
