PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 30. 111 the Supreme Court Tukarawa Pomau, for breaking and entering and theft, was sentenced to three years 111 gaol* concurrent with the sentence he is now serving; Philip Alexander Gentle, for indecent assault on a little girl, two years’ reformative treatment ; Alfred Hinton, on six charges of forgery and uttering, three years’ imprisonment; Robert Irwin Mac Lean, for giving a false name when contracting a second marriage, three months’ imprisonment.
