AEROPLANE CRUISE.
SQUADRON OVER CHRISTCHURCH. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 1. A squadron of six aeroplanes took an hour’s cruise over Christchurch and suburbs to-day in perfect weather, covering 70 miles. Five machines flew in V bombing formation, led by Captain P. Musgrave, while a fighter, flown by Captain M. C. McGregor, M.C., D.F.C. provided the escort and did ocacsional stunts en route. The flight was the first of its kind in New Zealand.
