TWO MORE FATALITIES.
(Pei Press Association.) HAMILTON, Jan. ‘2B. A drowning fatality occurred at the Horseshoe Lake, near i‘ ninkton, on Sunday afternoon when a youth named Robert Leighton, aged 17 years, son of Mr K. Leighton, ot Fruukton, lost his life. Leighton was swimming with c tlier lads at the lake and became separated from his companions who were occupied wUh the launching of an old boat. Leighton disappeared without warning. Ilis clothes were found on the lake side where he undressed and it was concluded that he hud been drowned. The body was recovered this morning. While taking his customary daily bathe in tho water race of the Ilorahora power house on Sunday morning a labourer named Albert Tomlin, aged about 40 years, was drowned. He was alone at tho time and no one saw him disappear. The body was later recovered. Ihe deceased, who was a married man, lived with his wife and two children neiir the power hous* extension construction works whore he was employed. He was a recent arrival from England. /•
