BIG BUSH FIRES.
(Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Jan. 28.
An extensive grass fire broke out on the Blenheim frontage and spread over many miles of sheep country, which embraced several runs. It destroyed a big acreage of sheep feed and a fe\y sheep were burnt. One stack of hay and some plantations wore destroyed. Hundreds of lire fighters were engaged from all quarters and the fire was suppressed late in the evening.
