THE METHODIST MISSION.

Vcrv large congregations assembled at the two Methodist Churches ,of Palmerston North yesterday in connection with-the above mission. After the evening service at St. Paul’s, tKe Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt administered the Sacrament of Holy Communion. A flower service Was held in Cuba Street' CSuifch in the morning, after which a number of young ladies took the flowers to the local hospitals. In the evening at Cuba street, the R*v. . Harold T. The Spirit comes to consummate the saving work of the Father and the Son. The Power of God is available to all men upon lhe aimpleat condition— acceptance. The faith that appropriated must necessarily be followed by obedience to the .commandments of Christ. In proportion as Christ is loved and obeyed, the'inward witness of the Spirit it given. Personal attachment to Jesus was and is the preparation for Rio baptism of the Holy Spirit.
