BOARD OF TRUSTEES. ) GENERAL RATE. <"QTICE is hereby given that the i J- resolution, passed by the Board on May sth, 1928] ■ striking a general rate of one farthing in the £ on the capital value of all fob. rateable property in the Board's Dis-svict, was rescinded, by resolution of the Board, at a meeting held on July 1923, and in lieu thereof the-' Bosrc! declared its intention, at a meeting to be held on Saturday, August 4th, 1923, to strike a general rate for the year ending March 31st, 1924, under the provisions of the "Rating Act, 1908," and the "Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1908," and amendments thereto, of \hree pence three farthings per acre on the whole of the area in the Board's District. The whole of the above rate is to be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1923/ and ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1924, -and to be payable in one sum on'the ,26th day of August, 1923, at the County Office, Pohangina, where the rate roll for the said period is now open for inspection during'office hours.
