MEETING OF CREDITORS.
ESTATE OF A. C. CROSS AN
The adjourned meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of A. C. Crossan, billiard saloon proprietor, Palmerston North, was held at the office of the D.O.A. (Mr C. E. Dempsy) yesterday. There were present the bankrupt and his solicitor, Mr Fletcher, Mrs Crossan and her solicitor, Mr Taylor, Messrs Stout (Kairanga Auctioneering Co., Ltd,), Cameron (Cameron Bros,), and Brice (IT. K. Partridge and Co.) Mr Taylor, representing Mrs Crossan and Mr W. Elvidgo, made an offer of 10s in the £1 to all unsecured creditors, payment of rent to the Kairanga Auctioneering Co., Ltd,, to pay bankruptcy commission and costs, the cash in bank and in hand to be handed them to make up tho 10s, this offer to remain ojieii for one week, and in the event of its acceptance, they to have one week to find the money. The assignee was asked to communicate with all the creditors as to acceptance or rejection, and the meeting was adjourned situ die.
