STEAMER STRIKES REEF.
DAMAGE TO H.M.Sk GERANIUM. MISHAP OFF PELLEW ISLANDS, (Per Press Association.') WELLINGTON, Juno 28. The Secretary of the General Post Office has received the following report from tho Superintendent of Radio __at Awunui: "At 11.5 p.ra. on the 27th in,st. H.M.A.S. Fiimomo stated that the HALS. Geranium reported having struck a reef off Pellcw Islands, and was damaged as iar ns the_ loremost funnel. The time of the mishap was not given. Later the Navy Office instructed tin l Fantome to proceed and render a.ssitanco to tho Geranium.”
