Mr J. P. Walt, oiifi of YVangamii's pioneers, is at present in Palmerston North on a visit to his son, Mr 11. Watt, of Carroll street. Mr A. W. Webster, inniiager of the New Plymouth branch of the Bank of Now South Wales, is voluntarily retiring from tho bank's service on July 31st-.* Mr Webster has had a long association with tho lank, extending over 45 years.
