TT is hereby notified that under the X provisions of the Regulations contained in the New Zealand Gazelle oi the 7111 June, 1920, an election will be held for the purpose of electing three producers’ representative's on the Ne>\ Zealand Meat Producers Board , m accordance with the following procedure : (a.) An Electoral Committee of twenty-live delegates shall elect the three producers’ representatives. (b.) For the purpose ol the election of the said twenty-five delegates the Board has divided New Zealand into Electoral Districts as under, and the number of delegates to be elected lor each Electoral District is as shown herein;— Sheep District. (c.) Nomination of Delegates to the Electoral Committee: No person shall be eligible for election as a delegate unless he has been nominated by a sheep farmer owning not less than one hundred sheep, and his nomination has been seconded by another such sheep farmer, and he has accepted nomination in writing. No person may accept nomination as a delegate for more than one Electoral District. The form of nomination is obtainable upon application to the undersigned, by whom nominations will be received at the Board’s Office up to noon on the 18th July, 1923, (d.) The list of persons entitled to vote for delegates to the Electoral Committee (in such Electoral Districts where an election may be necessary) has boon prepared by the Board, and is based on the Official Return of Shipowners as at the 30th April, 1922, after deleting persons, companies, or other corporations owning less than one hundred sheep. Ballot papers will bo posted to electors in due course. (e.) Nomination of Producers’ Representatives on the Board: No person shall be eligible fur election as a producers’ representative unless he has been nominated by a sheep farmer as aforesaid and his nomination has been seconded by another such sheep farmer, and be bus accepted nomination in writing. The form of nomination is obtainable upon application to the undersigned by whom nomination will be received at the Board’s Olilco, or at the place of meeting up to 2.30 p.m, on the 29th August, 1923.
