WAR PENSIONS ACT.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Juno 20. As indicated in the GovernorGeneral’s speech at the opening; of the session, Parliament will bo asked to consider an amendment of the War Pensions Act. The Minister in charge of War Pensions (Sir Heaton Pbodes) said that a bill was being prepared giving effect to certain recommendations of the War Pensions Commiseiou’s report, publication of which has boon pressed for by the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association. Sir Heaton Rhodes stated that the report would be published when the bill camo down.
