PROMINENT PERSONS ARRESTED.
RELEASED SUBSEQUENTLY
Received April 11. 11.25 a.m. BERLIN, April 10. The French arrested flerr Stinnes and his wife in the train at Scharnhorst, en route to the Ruhr. They were released after being interrogated and allowed to continue their journey, llerr ilamni, Secretary of State, was arrested in Essen, where he intended speaking at the funeral of the Krnpp victims. 'I he ex-Ministers, llerr Gieeschrts and llerr Stigerwald, were also arrested. All were released after the ceremony.—A. and N.Z. cable.
