A statement of estimated receipts and expenditure for the year ending March 31, 1924, was submitted to the meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board" to-day. Estimated expenditure : Provisions, £2800'; surgery and dispensary, £1500; wines and spirits, £100; maintenance buildings and grounds, £1600; furniture and earthenware, £SCO; bedding and drapery, £•100,; uniforms. £130; coal, £2000; pa's,
