STATEMENT IN THE COMMONS.

LONDON, March 28,

In the House of Commons, in reply to a question, Air Boyd Carpenter said that the* wool belonging to the Government ■amounted to approximately 620,000 bales, (he market value of which was estimated to bo £10,500,000. It was proposed to continue the present policy of realising systematically in regular monthly instalments, finishing in February, 1924.—Router.
