(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 28. There was a record yarding of store sheep at Addington to-day, approximately from 35,000 to 40,000, about 76 per cent, being owes and store sheep. The yarding included lines from Poverty Bay, Nelson, South Marlborough, Marlborough Sounds, and the Cliathams. The sale opened a shade easier, but improved and on the average was better than last week, there being a good clearance of all classes. Good 2-tooth Romney ewes’ made 38s, 39s 9d • good 2,4, 6 and 8-tooth Romney ewes 32s to 36s 6d; ordinary, 28s to 31s 6d; good 2 and 4-tooth ewes, 32s to 345; ordinary, 27s 6d to 31s 3d; good 2, 4 and 6-tooth halfbrcd ewes, 395; good 2-tooth three-quarter-bred ewes, 345; full and failing mouthed ewes, 23s to 27s 9d; failing mouthed, 19s 6d to 25s 9d; aged, 13s to 18s 3d; forward 6-tooth wethers 31s Id; ordinary, 27s to 28s 6d; good half bred 2tooth wethers, 295; good forward lambs, 24s 3d to 23s Id; ordinary, 20s. to 23s 9d; inferior, 17s 9d to 19s 9d; cull, 9s 9d to Fat Lambs.—Four thousand two hundred and fifty were penned and there was a good sale at last weeks’ values, lOd to 10id.
