(Per Press Association.) OTAKI, Sept. 25. The weather is fine but dull and tho course is in good order for the second day of the Otaki spring meeting. Results: Trial Handicap, five furlongs.—Prowler, 8.2, 1; Santonio, 9.0, 2; Waimahoe, 8.0, 3. All started. Won by a length, same distance between second and third. Time, 1.3 2-5.
Dominion Day flock Handicap, seven furlongs.—Redloguo, 7.11, 1; Para, 8.0, 2; Manchester, 7.0, 3. Scratched : Mark Time, Blissfulness, Highway, Petunia and Vindictive. Won by a length. Time, 1.29 1-5
High Weight Handicap, 1{ miles.—Mattock, 10.12, 1; Fisher. 10.10, 2; Explorer, 11.3, 3. Ail started. Won by two lengths, three length.', between second and third. Time, 2.12 1-5,

AUCKLAND, Sept. 25
The Avondale spring meeting was continued to-day in perfect weather, The track is in good order and there is a large attendance. Results:
Kingsland Hurdles, 1J miles.—Guerre-a-Mort, 10,6. 1; Tenacious, 9.7, 2; Dempsey, 10.6, 3. Scratched: llushman, Won by two lengths. Time, 5.17 1-5. Nursery Handicap, 5 furlongs.—Ballymena, 8.3, 1; Homage, 7.6, 2; Queen March, 7.11, 3. Scratched: York Abbey. Won by a short neck, a length between second and third. Time, 1.1 4-5.
