MEETING OF PALMERSTON NORTH BRANCH. Tlio monthly mooting of tho Palmerston North braneli of tho Phmket Society was held yesterday afternoon when there wove present: Mesdames L. A. Abraham (in tho chair), Penny, Ireland, Ongley, Russell, Miller, Bamuid, R. Abraham and Aitchison and Sister Kilgonr. New niembers elected were: Mesdames N. Gibbons, Rabbidge, T. Rodgers, Coombs, 11. Bennett, and Langley._ 'I he nurse reported having paid 365 visits during the month, these being as follows New cases 23, visits to homes 103, babies’ visits to office 178, adults’ visits 185. Summary of new cases: Insufficient feeding, 7; indigestion, 2; weaning, 1; general advice, 11; expectant mothers, 2. Bis mothers were shown how; to make humanised milk. The committee recorded its thanks to Mr -Morgan, manager _of tho New Zealand Farmers’ Dairy Union factory, for the milk testing which ho had done. Thanks were also tendered the donors of furnishings for the new rooms, also a member of the committee who offered tho nurse tho use of a bicycle for an indefinite period, Mesdames Barraud and R. Abraham were appointed a committee to attend to the rooms and arrange the flowers for the ensuing month.
