RUGBY FOOTBALL.
At Invercargill yesterday Southland Boys’ High School defeated Christchurch High School by eight points to three in tho South Island final for the Moascar Cup. Southland School will now play the final with tho winner of to-day’s game between Auckland Grammar School and Wanganui Technical School. The advisory hoard recently formed with the object of considering means of furthering the interests of the Rugby game among tho Maoris of tho Dominion met at Napier last night, Mr G. Parata presiding, when it was decided to recommend to the New Zealand Rugby Union that for the inauguration of tho scheme a North v. South Maori match be played next year. The boundaries of the northern area will be North Auckland, tho Bay of Plenty, the King Country, Thames Valley, Waikato, East Const, Poverty Bay, and the Wairoa sub-union. Tho southern area will comprise Hawke’s Bay, Wairarapa, Mnnnwatu, Horov,henna, Wanganui, Taranaki, Wellington and the South Island,
