IN BANKRUPTCY.
ESTATE OF J. T. AND E. ROSE. A further meeting in the bankrupt estate of J. T. unci E. Rose, {armors, of Koptitaroa, was held this morning at tlie office of the Deputy Official Assignee,. Mr 0. E. Dompsy, who presided. Others present were bankrupt J. T, Rose, who was represented by Mr Adams, Mr J. Cameron, with his solicitor Mr Abraham, and Mr E. E. Johnston. The last-named staled that the first mortgagee had bought in the (property at Bunnythorpe, and that meant that the speaker’s mortgage was valueless. On being sworn, the bankrupt deposed that there was no milking plant on the property tit liunnythorpo, unci he did not know anything of the stock supposed to bo grazing there. Ho could not make any oil or lo Mr Johnston. On the motion of Mr Johnston it was decided that the bankrupt be given till September 14 to find £250 or m the alternative the D.O.A. to wind-up the estate. It was also resolved that the £250 be paid to Mr Johnston, who agreed to transfer his mortgage to the D.0.A,, or Ins nominee, or to release same. It was further decided that bankrupt should got the proceeds from bis milk till this matter was decided.
