SOCIAL FUNCTIONS.

The entertainment committee of the Northern Bowling and Tennis Club proridod its patrons with a very pleasant Evening at tlie dance and euchre tournament held last night at tho Anzac Club. The number of dancers taxed the capacity of the floor space, and Ibe euchre tables were folly patronised. The prize-winners were Mrs Jamieson (first, ladies), Mr Perrin (first, gentlemen), Airs Knox (second, ladies) and Mr Bryant (second gentlemen).
