JEWEL THEFT IN LONDON.
SENSATION IN CITY CIRCLES. LONDON, Aug. 29. A sensation has been caused in social and city circles by a £IO,OOO confidence coup effected at tho expense of Hatton Garden dealers. A warrant has been issued for tho arrest of Major Harrison, formerly of the Dragoon Guards, who has departed for the Continent. One of the principal gems was sold at Antwerp two days after tho robbery.—A. and N.Z. cable.
