ROVING BANDS OF REBELS, WOMEN ORGANISE AMBUSHES. LONDON, Aug. 29. Roving bands of rebels continue to operate in various parts, and there have been many instances of women organising ambushes. Some are armed and partake in tho shooting, but tho majority are content to remain in tho background and incite tho males to acts of violence and destruction. Since Mr Collins’s death tho authorities have received much assistance from civilians, who are no longer afraid to give information of tho rebel activities.—A. and N.Z. cable.
