GIRL'S CLOTHES STOLEN.

SYDNEY, July 10. Ivy Matthews, one of the chief witnesses in tiie Gun Alloy tragedy, invested half of the £430 reward in refitting her wardrobe prior to leaving for Melbourne. Whilst visiting friends a cabman called at Miss Matthews’ house and said the latter had sent him for the luggage. He obtained the lot and also a bundle of notes, and has not since been sighted.—Press Association.
