COOK DEFEATS JONES.
Received July 11, 11.'25 a.m. LONDON, July 10. In the boxing match George Cook (Australia) defeated Soldier Horace Jones (Canada) on points.—A. and N.Z. cable.
Prior to tiro match it was stated that the winner would probably be matched against Beckett to decide who will be Oarpentier’s next opponent.
