Oram raised the question at hist night’s meeting of, the Borough Council as to whether if might be possible to utilise it for the purpose of providing municipal golf links, As chairman of the reserves committee, Cr Lancaster said that he already had the scheme in view, combined yvith several other proposals. He hoped shortly to lie able to lay his proposals before the council. Cr. Eliott pointed out that the Wellington, City Council did exceedingly well out of its municipal links.
