in ctiaotTc^state. Received July 8, 1.55 p.m. London, July 7._ Foreign exchanges arc in a chaotic state. To-day the mark reached 2400 to the £l, and closed at 2300. The French franc sharply depreciated to 55.50, and the Belgian to 59.70. The Italian lire is weak at 102, and closed at 100.—A. and N.Z. cable.
