\Jr T. !■'. Conway lia.s a very pleasing exhibii of apples, locally grown, at the show. Reference lo these was made by a Nelson grower, who said he liatl never seen one to equal it. The fmii was no! polished for show purposes as with other exhibits. [Published by Arnmgement.J The wonderful growth the pouhry industry is innkin» m the North Island is to a large extent, though many poultrymen are not aware of k, due to the fact that there is a large and progressive (lour mill (situated in Palnierston. We refer to Hie "Primrose" mill, owned by tlie Maaawaiu Mills Company. The very fiK.-i lhal poultry - men have a iiour mill in their midst guarantees them wheat at a reasonable price, as the local wheat growers are [hereby encouraged io extend their wheal areas, which the\ would not do if I here was not a flour mill i i take their wheat. '1 liink also of the fresh bran and pollard local poultrymen are able to obtain through hav in-, ilie "Primrose"' mill in their district. The Palmer-ion mill is also the iiir.mifac tiuer of "Primrose" chick raiser, Primrose poultry meal, ready-io-use poultry meal mixed grain, poultry wheat meal, kibbled .main, etc Tlie large egg circles use Primrose poultry loud.-, as they have proved their worth as egg producers. 'I he tuitli is no pnultrynian can all'ord to buy 'other than "Primrose" poultry foods, when ho considers his own interests, quality foods at reasonable prices and high egg production.
