CHURCH MANAGEMENT.

AN ANOMALOUS POSITION. AUSTRALIANS HAVE NO SAY. Received Juno 14, 11.30 a.m. BRISBANE, Junel4._ Dr. Sharp, Archbishop of Brisbane, in his inaugural address al the Anglican Synod, said that it was anomalous thai, they should be bound by every enactment of the Church in England when they had no representation in its assemblies. They had no voice in the revision of the Prayer Boole, yet il it was revised, il would be imposed on them. It was a somewhat absurd position thai they should be forced to accept every alteration made in England. Referring to the question of Church unity, the Archbishop said that ordination was tho crux, and until it was arranged on u satisfactory basis the lesser considerations were comparatively trifling.—Press Association.
