IX DIVORCE. His Honour, ilit? Chief Justice. Sir Robert otoijl, presided at the Supreme Court this morning, . Mr Cooper moved for a, decree absolute in connection with the divorce ease, Dorothy Joan Pocock v. Ollivcr Pocock. A decree absolulo was accordingly granted, the custody of tho children being given to tiie mother.

A decree absolute in respect of the case Robert. Leonard Gill v. Phoebe Jane Gill, was also moved for by Mr Cooper, who stated that tho grounds for t)io action were desertion, owing to failure to comply with on order for restitution of conjugal rights. There were no children. An order as sought was accordingly granted. On behalf of His Honour, Mr Justice Hosking, His Honour, ihe Chief Justice, delivered judgment in connection with the creditors petition io adjudge John .Michael Judd, of Darmevirke, a bankrupt. The evidence_ submitted showed (hat grounds for granting the petition were suHicieni and debtor would accordingly be adjudicated a bankrupt. Tho Court then adjourned till 10 a.m. on June 8. PRORATES GRANTED. Sitting in Chambers. His Honour Mr Justice Hosking granted probate in respect of the wills of each of the following deceased persons:—Elizaboth Carter (Mr lanes); Anno Gilpin (.Mr Kelly), Charles Piatt (Mr limes), William Chr.rles Allen (Mr Lyon), .Rums Morgan (Mr Here), Phoebe Ann l J il; ( . (.\|-, Innes), Catherine Robinson (Mr flat per), l.uigi Pedro Luoni (Mr lrme-), Matilda Legg (Mr Smith); Henry Charles N'ocdl (Mr "Harper) was granted probate, as executor in the will.of Catherine Annie Nocdl, Letters of administration were granted io Mr Graham in the estate of John McNeil. His Honour the Chief Justice Sir Robert Stout granted probate of i!ie wills of John Dick (Mr Smith) and of diaries Edward Short! (Mr Ongley).
