SCHOOLMASTER'S LUCKY FUND.
A school teacher, who whs recently appointed to a school in the backblocks in •.ho North Island, has a lalo to tell of the hardship!! he had to face in reaching his new charge. Bush, bog and bad weather all contributed to his discomfort?, and when he finally arrived at his destination he had contracted a very severe cold. On rummaging through the school cupboards, he fortunately discovered a bottle half full of Baxter's Lung Preserver.
