Received May 16, 11.20 a.in. ‘ SYDNEY, May 16. While two fishermen wore taking a anneh to the fishing grounds off Eden, with a shark pursuing, the fish raised itself sufficiently from the water to topple into the boat. The monster measured 12ft in length and sft m girth. It was killed with the greatest difficulty, a winch and gear being requisitioned to remove the carcase Press Association,
