I'he. limit man held the lead right up to the final length with Bennett in the rear. However, in the dash tor home Boulton died away and lulwards got up io win hy a foot from Bennett, who wrested second place from Boulton m the Ir.sr few yards, while Sollilt was a yard further away. Despite the coldness of the water the distance was covered uj 75 3-ssee. the winner’s lime being returned at 72 3-ssec. The points aggregate resulted; Kdwards 34. Bennett 8, Moulton b.
