I : The Department of Health notified that | it had taken over the administration of Si Queen Mary Hospital, Haunter, front the i military authorities. I The-Department of Health advised that f it was the duty of the hoard to pay the t travelling expenses of the district nurse - , for natives tit Otaki. when travelling within \ ;ts district.—Referred to the executive. i The Otago Hospital Hoard wrote asking tin* hoard to join in with it in protesting against the increased charges for audit. — .Protest to be endorsed. The medical superintendent, Dr. G. A. Forrest, reported that (lining last month there was a marked diminution in the number of cases ot infections diseases admitted to the hospital, which comprised: Scarlet lever 5. diphtheria nil. infantile paralysis 1 and phthisis 1.
