COLLAPSE OF A THEATRE.
WASHINGTON CITY OF GLOOM, WASHINGTON. Jan. 30. Congress and the foreign diplomats were docplv stirred in regard to the cinema tragedy. The French,, Japanese and Dutch Dinlomatic Corns sent letters to Mr Hughes expressing their sorrow, while a resolution was introduced in the Senate by Colonel House, calling for an investigation. The Federal Grand Jury began its investigations on the spot while the rescuers continued digging, "'hicli was carried on for 30 hours without a pause.
