Second round: Denliston (Canterbury) heat Cotterill (Canterbury), 6—4, 7—5, o—2; Robson Auckland) beat Clark ( Auckland), 6—o, i—l, 6—o’. Combined Doubles. First round: Mrs .Melody (Wellington) and Lampo (Wanganui) beat Mrs Sheldon (South Canterbury) and (toss (Canterbury), H—6, ■)—(), (>—4. Second round: Miss Webb ind Field (Canterbury) won from Mrs Weston and Park (Wellington) by denude Ladies’ Singles.—First round: Miss Oret'ii (Southland) beat Miss Marsh Wellington), 6- I. (i—o. Girls’ Singles.— First round: Miss ( idu in bus (( anlerbury) beat Miss Preson (Canterbury), 6 2, 6—o; Miss Maloney (Oiagp) Avon from Miss Atlammn (\\ ellingtort) by default.
