A murder recalling the Landru exploits his beeirdisclosed by the discovery of the bodv of Irene Wilkins, a. spinster, aged 30 years, on the roadside near Bournemouth. Miss'Wilkins advertised for employment and received a telegram io go to Bournemouth, where she would lie mei by a motorcar. Her dead body was found next morning with the head battered, apparently by heavy motor tools, and there were marks where she was I brown from the ear. A telegram similar io that received by Miss Wilkins was sent to a London muse, who visited Bournemouth, but went to the wroii-- station and failed Io meet the man. Subsequently she found that the address u-iven was fictitious, and probably she escaped Misa Wilkins's fate.—A. and N.A.
