R.S.A. LABOUR BUREAU.
TO THE EDlTOtt. Sir.,—We are advertising, through your valued columns, that it is the intention ot the local R.S.A. to establish in the near future a labour bureau. In taking this step the association is endeavouring to forestall the possibility of lack of employment in this country in the near future. It is our opinion this will be most acute during the coming winter months, although wo sincci'cly trust that our fears are groundless. lC A great deal of hardship will be entailfcd on many marries] men of our rank?, 1 just married and just repatriated, and we take this opportunity of appealing to the many employers, of the town and district to extend us their help in keeping these t men in employment, by, wherever possible, giving tbe returned soldier preference. ; We hope, in this manner, and by once [again appealing to an ever generous public, to- relieve a hardship which wo feel sure might otherwise fall upon a great numbpr of returned soldiers in a very short time—l am, etc., W. G. RUTHERFURD. Secretary, R.S.A.
