BRISBANE WOOL SALES.
JAPANESE BUYERS OPERATING. Received February 17, 10.15 a.m. BRISBANE. Feb. 17. The third series of wool sales brought a strong demand for super greasies from Japanese buyers. Prices were on a par with December rates. A feature of the sale was the unexpected demand for scoured specialities. The well-known Afton clip sold at 4Rid, the highest price since (he sales re-opened last year.—Press Association.
