August 11, Mr Daniel Cook, representative of the General Steamship Corporation of San Francisco, is investigating trade opportunities between Australasia, and America. Ho stated that he has five freighters exceeding 8000 tons to bo put on the Aus-tralia-New Zealand run, and this number will bo increased later to ten,— (Press Association).
