The Sydney Sun, in a leader referring to Tilticn’s defat of Paterson, says: “Australasian tennis players must be wondering iiow Australia’s next Davis Cup team is going to shape against^the Am- m cans Had the Australian or British players anything to give away to the Americans the change of venue to New Zealand would not bo of much consequence, but on the present showing they have nothing to give, and will surrender a valuable advantage by playing in New Zealand, "hero they will bo as much on foreign soil and in foreign atmosphere as the Americans, me paper adds that playing in Now Zealand, therefore, with the chances as they are, may well result in defeat to the Australians. It suggests that the New Zealand Association, in generously waiving _ their rights, might help to keep the cup m u.e Empire.—(Press Association),
