INCREASE IN RETAIL PRICES, LONDON, July 10. The Labour motion for the reduction of the Estimates was defeated by 246 to 37. A number of Unionists abstained from voting. A motion by Sir Edward Carson tor the reduction of the Estimates was defeated by 240 to 129. Questions elicited the information that the retail prices at. Ist June were 159 per cent, above those current at Ist Mav, 1914. , , . Mr Bonar Law announced that tlio number of war criminals demanded from Germany was 892. No information was available regarding bow many were residing'- in ncutrql countries. The Government bad not communicated with neutrals on tlio subject. —(A. and N.Z. cable.)
