County Loan and Empowering Act, 1917," and Amendment Act, 1919, for (a) The, extension of the lino of tramway into-the bed of the Rangitikei River. (b) The laying of new sidings to the lino of the tramway and the relaying of any part' or parts of the existing line of tramway. _ (c) The erection and acquisition of buildings, structures, machinery and plant for the purposes of the tramway, and the making of alterations and additions in and to existin;', buildings, structures, machinery and plant. (d) The. acquisition of any land or estate or interest in land for the purposes of the tramway or of any buildings or works connected' there(e) The acquisition of additional locomotives, waggons and carriages for the purposes of the tramway. (I) The repayment to the Council's General Account of the sum of two thousand nine hundred and two pounds expended thereout for the purposes of tho tramway.
