MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMIT'! EE. A meeting of the management committee of the Manawatu Hockey Association was held last night, the president, Mr M. 11. Oram, presiding. The Wanganui Association wrote suggesting July 31 as a suitable date for the Manawatu team to play in Wanganui. This date was accepted and it was decided to ask Wanganui to play a return match in I'aimerston North on August 4. The Auckland Association notified that a date, for a match between their representatives and Manawatu for the Shi -Id would be arranged after the Nelson and Hav-dec s Bav teams had been played. It was decided that a- learn of fourteen should he select/ d to commence training immediately in view of the big came and that unless members trained assiduously the Association wou.d have to abandon the trip.
